TORIMIRO, Dixon Olutade (Ph.D.), Professor of Agricultural Extension & Rural Sociology, Fellow of the Centre for Gender & Social Policy Studies and former acting Head, Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

He was Nigeria’s Federal Government Scholar, Laureate of the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa’s (CODESRIA’s) Child and Youth Studies Institute-2004, Recipient of the CODESRIA’s grant for Multinational Working Group (MWG) on Citizenship and Identity in Contemporary Africa-2005, member of the College of Research Associates, United Nations University’s Institute of Natural Resources in Africa (UNU/INRA), Co-initiator and Vice-President (Southwest) of National Research and Development Network of Children and Youth in Agriculture Programme (CYIAP- Network) in Nigeria.
